Amanda's involvement with Threefold began in 2005 as a member of the inaugural medical team. She has had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua with over a dozen short-term teams over the last 12 years. She also spent ten months living at the Skylark Centre where she spearheaded a successful outreach program for teen-aged girls in the Los Medranos community.
Amanda held a position on the Board of Directors from 2015 through 2017. She stepped off the Board in late 2017 to take on the role of Community Development Coordinator.
Amanda is passionate about seeing people and communities grow to reach their full potential. The people of Nicaragua and the work that Threefold is doing there hold a special place in Amanda's heart and she is excited for this new chapter!
Amanda lives Parry Sound, Ontario, her favourite ‘place on earth’ and is currently completing her Masters of Social Work at Lakehead University in Orillia, Ontario.
